One of the nicest parts of a small practice is getting to know people over the years. There are things to catch up on, children growing up, and the pleasure of seeing someone again. We hope you'll find it easy to talk with us, about your teeth and whatever else is on your mind.

The way we work

The dentist you get to know

You'll see Dr. Maiurano each time you come in. She wants to know how things have felt since your last visit, including anything you've been putting up with or weren't sure was worth mentioning. What you notice day to day helps her understand how your teeth are working for you.

She'll help you take care of your teeth and talk through the bigger decisions. If you need a specialist, she'll explain why and help arrange the referral. You can still come back to her with questions.

A word-of-mouth kind of practice

Much of this practice has grown through people passing along the name to a neighbor or another parent, sometimes in a conversation out on a run. It means a lot when someone trusts us enough to send a friend here.

We also love hearing from people we haven't seen in a while. Life and addresses change, and sometimes a familiar office is where you'd like to start again. You're welcome to get back in touch.

Thinking beyond today's appointment

Dr. Maiurano thinks about how a tooth will hold up long after you leave the chair. Her recommendation may be a repair, a closer look from a specialist, or checking the same spot at your next visit. She'll explain the reason and what would make her reconsider.

That care includes choosing materials for the job they need to do and paying attention to the small details of shape and fit. Dr. Maiurano continues her education and considers how new techniques can help the people she treats. We keep an eye on your dental work at regular checkups and explain how to care for it at home.

We also want to know what you hope for. Maybe you want to enjoy a meal more comfortably, feel happier with your smile, or keep your teeth healthy as you get older. What matters to you helps us plan your care, along with what we find during your exam.

A familiar place in Springfield

We've been caring for our neighbors here on Rolling Road since 2013. We enjoy meeting new neighbors and catching up with familiar faces. Get to know Dr. Maiurano before your visit.

We are members of the Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce and support local schools, races, events, and organizations when we can. This is the community where our families spend their days, too.

Our office is in Saratoga Business Center at 7841 Rolling Road. We welcome patients from Springfield, Newington, Lorton, Fort Belvoir, and nearby neighborhoods. Take a look around our corner of Springfield for familiar landmarks, photographs of the office, and details for your visit.

Make yourself comfortable

Help yourself to a book from the little lending library, or grab a cup of coffee while you wait. Carmen brings kindness and a knack for keeping things organized to the front desk. Sandra brings a gentle touch and a sense of humor to your cleanings. You may hear a little friendly back-and-forth with Dr. Maiurano along the way.

We enjoy a chance to catch up, and you're just as welcome on a day when you'd rather settle in quietly. Meet Carmen and Sandra before you come in.

If you're more comfortable speaking Tagalog, Dr. Maiurano speaks it too. We also have Spanish-speaking staff. Just mention it when you call.
